Georgian subtitles for creators in Georgia
Live in Georgia and make videos in English, or in another language? GeoCaptions hears what you say and puts Georgian subtitles on your video, translated, so Georgian viewers can follow you, even with the sound off. It can also subtitle the video in the language you speak, or put your language under a Georgian speaker's words. It all works in the browser, and you can try it free.
What you can do with it
- Your video, with Georgian subtitles You speak English, Russian, Turkish, Arabic or any of 93 languages; the subtitles come out in Georgian, timed to your voice. A Georgian audience reads you in its own language.
- Subtitles in the language you speak English speech, English subtitles: word by word, as you said it. Nothing is translated, so it costs the normal 1 credit a minute.
- A Georgian speaker, in your language Filmed a guide, a shop owner or a friend speaking Georgian? Their words get subtitles in English or one of 59 other languages, so your own followers understand them.
- Your voice, speaking Georgian The AI dub makes the same video in Georgian in your own voice. More on the AI dubbing page.
- Ready for TikTok, Reels and Shorts A wide video can be made vertical (9:16), and the subtitles stay clear of the apps' buttons. Download the video with the subtitles in the picture, or an SRT file for YouTube and your editor.
How it works
- Sign up with your email. You get a 6-digit code, no password. The app opens in English.
- Upload the video and choose two languages. The one spoken in the video (or Auto-detect) and the one for the subtitles: Georgian, your own, or another.
- Choose a look. Font, colours and size, shown on your own video before you start.
- Read, fix, download. In a translation, the sentences the check doubts are marked. Fix what you need, then download the MP4 or the SRT file.
Good to know
- Machine translation It reads well most of the time, but it can still pick a wrong word. If you don't read Georgian, ask a Georgian-speaking friend to look over the marked sentences before you post.
- Names spelled your way “My names” keeps how a person, a place or a brand is written, so every translation uses it.
- Prices in lari Translation costs 2 credits a minute of video. The free month's 3 credits translate 1 min; paid plans start at ₾19 a month.
- Your rights Upload only videos you made or have the right to use.
