Translate a video into Georgian, or out of it
GeoCaptions translates a video in both directions. Speech in any of 93 languages (English, Russian, Turkish and more) becomes Georgian captions burned into the video; Georgian speech gets captions in English, Russian and 57 other languages. The speech is heard first, then translated sentence by sentence and checked; a sentence the check doubts is marked for you to read, and a wrong word in the original can be fixed and translated again. It works on every plan, Free too, at 2 credits a minute.
How it works
- Add your video and say what language is spoken – or let the app detect it.
- Choose the caption language. Georgian for a foreign video; English, Russian or another language for a Georgian one.
- Press Translate. The speech is heard word by word, translated sentence by sentence, and the captions are timed back to the voice.
- Read the marked sentences, fix, download. A fix in the original text is translated again on its own; the video is updated in seconds. MP4 or SRT.

What to know before you publish
A machine translation can read well and still miss a "not" or pick the wrong word. The checks catch broken sentences (about 2 in 1,000 in our tests), not wrong meaning, so read translated captions before you post them, especially the sentences marked "check". A mistake in what was heard becomes a wrong Georgian sentence, so when the original language is yours, read the original text too. If you want the voice translated as well, not only the captions, see the AI dubbing page.
Questions people ask
Can I translate an English video into Georgian?
Yes. English, Russian, Turkish or any of 93 spoken languages are heard and turned into Georgian captions burned into the video, with the sentences checked and the doubtful ones marked.
Can I translate a Georgian video into English or Russian?
Yes. Georgian speech gets captions in English, Russian and 57 other languages, burned into the video or as an SRT file, so a Georgian video can reach viewers abroad.
How accurate is the translation?
Good enough to publish after a read-through, not blind. Each sentence is translated whole and checked for broken output; about 2 sentences in 1,000 fail the check in our tests and are marked. Wrong meaning in a sentence that reads well is still possible, so read it before posting.
Does it translate the voice as well?
This page is about captions: the original voice stays and the translated text is shown. The AI dub does the voice: the same video spoken in the new language in the speaker's own voice.
What does it cost?
2 credits a minute of video on every plan. The free month's 3 credits translate 1 min of video; Creator's 40, 20 min. A video that fails gets its credits back.
Which languages can the video be in?
Georgian, or any of 93 other spoken languages. Captions can be Georgian, or for a Georgian video one of 59 other languages.
