Why Georgian letters get cut off
Many Georgian letters reach well below the line, like ღ, ყ, ფ, ჯ and ლ, or above it, like ბ, ზ, ჩ, ხ and ჰ; ქ and ჭ do both. A caption box sized for Latin letters can be too short for them, and the tails or tops are cut off. A font with no Georgian letters at all shows empty boxes instead.
Every caption font in GeoCaptions has all 33 letters, and every caption line gets room for the longest tail and the tallest top, even while a word pops in bigger. This page lets you see that with your own words.
How the check works

Questions people ask
Which fonts support Georgian letters for captions?
Every font on this page has all 33 Georgian letters: Noto Sans Georgian in several weights and widths, Noto Serif Georgian and FiraGO. Many fonts in video editors do not, and show empty boxes instead of Georgian letters.
Why are the tails of Georgian letters cut off in my captions?
Letters like ღ, ყ, ფ and ჯ reach far below the line. If the caption box is sized for Latin letters, there is not enough room under the line, and the tails are cut. GeoCaptions gives every caption line room for the longest tail.
What size is a TikTok caption on a phone?
"Phone size" here draws your text the way GeoCaptions' default caption looks on a 9:16 video shown full width on a typical phone. "Zoomed in" shows the same text bigger, so you can look at every tail and top.
Can I use my own font?
On the Studio plan, yes: upload a TTF or OTF font in the Brand kit. It is checked the same way as on this page, and refused with a reason if it lacks any of the 33 letters or would cut their tails or tops.
Is my text sent anywhere?
No. Everything happens in your browser: the page only downloads the font files. Nothing you type is sent to us or saved.
