GeoCaptions მხოლოდ აუცილებელ ქუქიებს იყენებს — შესვლისა და ანგარიშის დასაცავად. რეკლამა და სხვა საიტებზე თვალთვალი არ არის. სხვა კომპანიების სკრიპტებიდან იტვირთება მხოლოდ Cloudflare-ისა (დაცვა და გვერდის ნახვების დათვლა ქუქის გარეშე) და YouTube-ის ბმულის ჩასმისას YouTube-ის ფლეერი (ორივე ქვემოთ). შრიფტები სხვა კომპანიებისგან არ იტვირთება.

თქვენს ბრაუზერში შენახული პარამეტრები

ბრაუზერის „ლოკალურ საცავში“ (local storage) ინახება თქვენი არჩევანი და დაუმთავრებელი სამუშაო. ის თქვენს მოწყობილობაზე რჩება და თქვენ ამოსაცნობად არ გამოიყენება. სტილები და დაუმთავრებელი ცვლილებები შესულ მომხმარებელს ანგარიშზეც ინახება, რომ ყველა მოწყობილობაზე დახვდეს (იხ. კონფიდენციალურობის პოლიტიკა).

აპლიკაციის მთავარ ეკრანზე დაყენებისას მისი „service worker“ აპლიკაციის საკუთარ ფაილებს ინახავს სისწრაფისთვის და აჩვენებს შეტყობინებას „ვიდეო მზადაა“, თუ ეს ჩართეთ. საიტის მონაცემების გასუფთავება ყველაფერს შლის და აპლიკაცია ნაგულისხმევი პარამეტრებით იწყება. ანგარიშის წაშლისას ყველაფერი იშლება, გარდა ენისა და თემისა.

YouTube-ის ფლეერი

YouTube-ის ბმულის ჩასმისას გვერდი ვიდეოს YouTube-ის კონფიდენციალურობის გაძლიერებული რეჟიმის ფლეერში (youtube-nocookie.com) აჩვენებს, რომ ნაწილი აირჩიოთ. ფლეერს თქვენი ბრაუზერი YouTube-იდან ტვირთავს; YouTube-მა შეიძლება ბრაუზერში მონაცემები შეინახოს Google-ის კონფიდენციალურობის პოლიტიკის მიხედვით. ბმულის გარეშე ან ფაილის ატვირთვისას YouTube არ იტვირთება.

საიდან მოხვედით (ქუქის გარეშე)

Cloudflare-ის მიერ ვიზიტების დათვლა (ქუქის გარეშე)

Cookie Policy

No "accept or reject" banner, because there is nothing to ask about - on the first visit a short notice just says so, with one "Got it" button. GeoCaptions sets only essential cookies, to keep you signed in and your account safe. There is no advertising and no tracking across sites. The only scripts from other companies are Cloudflare's (protection, and a count of page visits without cookies) and YouTube's player when you paste a YouTube link (both below). No fonts load from elsewhere.

The cookies

On plain HTTP (for example a copy on your own computer) the names have no __Host-. Cookies strictly necessary for a service the user asked for - here, signing in and keeping the account safe - do not need consent.

Settings kept in your browser

Your browser's local storage keeps your choices and unfinished work. It stays on your device and is not used to recognise you. When you are signed in, your styles and unsaved edits are also kept on your account so they follow you to every device (see the Privacy Policy).

If you add the app to your home screen, its service worker keeps the app's own files for speed and shows the "video ready" notice if you switched it on. Clearing your browser's site data removes all of this and the app starts from its defaults. Deleting your account removes everything listed here from that browser, except the language and theme.

YouTube's player

When you paste a YouTube link, the page shows the video in YouTube's privacy-enhanced player (youtube-nocookie.com) so you can choose a part. Your browser loads that player from YouTube, and YouTube may store data in your browser under Google's Privacy Policy. Without a YouTube link, or when you upload a file, nothing is loaded from YouTube.

Where you came from (no cookie)

When you arrive, your browser itself tells us which site sent you (for example "google.com" - never the search words). The page does not store this in your browser: it only rides along in the address of the next page you open here, and if you create an account we keep the site's name with it (see the Privacy Policy, section 2). Without an account nothing is kept.

Cloudflare's visit count (no cookie)

Cloudflare stands in front of the site and uses a small script to count page visits. It sends Cloudflare the page's address, the site that sent you, your type of browser and how fast the page loaded. This script sets no cookie and stores nothing in your browser. It does not get the part of an address after "#" or campaign tags, and it does not run on shared video pages. We see only totals, never who visited. Cloudflare says this service collects no personal data of visitors.

If we ever add more

For optional cookies, advertising tools or any analytics not listed here: we would ask you first; nothing would load or be stored before you agree, refusing would be as easy as agreeing, and you could change your mind later. This page would list exactly what each one does.
