Georgian captions for TikTok videos

GeoCaptions adds Georgian captions to your TikTok video. Upload the video, wait about 13–33 seconds for each minute of it, fix the few words it marks, and download the video with the captions burned in, ready to post. The captions follow the voice word by word, come in looks made for TikTok, and stay in the middle area that TikTok's buttons and texts leave free. Free to try, no card needed.

How to add captions to a TikTok video

  1. Add your video. A file from your phone or computer, or a link (YouTube, Google Drive, Dropbox). A TikTok video is vertical (9:16); a wide video can be made vertical first. Choose the part you want captioned.
  2. Choose a look. 12 caption looks, such as Bold (big white letters, thick outline, words build up one by one) and Big word (one big word at a time, in the middle). You see each one on your own video before you start.
  3. Press Add captions. Every word is heard and timed to the voice, about 13–33 seconds for each minute of video; spoken numbers become digits.
  4. Check and download. The editor points at the words most likely to be wrong; fix them, and the video is updated in seconds. Download the MP4, or the SRT.

Captions that TikTok's buttons do not cover

On a 1080 × 1920 video, the buttons and texts of the app cover the top 160 px, the bottom 420 px and 150 px on the right. GeoCaptions keeps every caption line inside the middle area that is left. It is one set of numbers for TikTok, Reels and Shorts together, not a separate set for each app.

  • 160 px at the top: the app's top bar and texts
  • 420 px at the bottom: the name and the description
  • 150 px on the right: the app's buttons
  • the dashed box: where your captions stay

In the app this is the switch “Keep captions visible on TikTok, Reels & Shorts” in the caption style options. It is on by default for vertical looks, and you can turn it off. Without it, a caption can sit under the like button or the video's description.

These are our own measurements for a 1080 × 1920 video. Apps change their screens from time to time, so they are not an official rule of any app.

Questions people ask

How do I add Georgian captions to a TikTok video?

Upload your video to GeoCaptions, choose a look, press Add captions, fix the words it marks and download the MP4. Then upload that file to TikTok like any other video. The captions are already in the picture, so they show for every viewer.

Why are my captions hidden behind TikTok's buttons?

TikTok draws its buttons on the right and the name and description at the bottom, and they can cover captions placed there. GeoCaptions keeps its captions out of the top 160 px, the bottom 420 px and the right 150 px of a 1080 × 1920 video. The switch is on by default for vertical looks.

Which caption look should I choose for TikTok?

There is no single right look. Bold and Big word are loud and fast, which suits short videos; Clean band is calmer, for someone talking to the camera. You see each look on your own video before you start, so you can compare them.

My video is wide (16:9). Can I use it on TikTok?

Yes. “Make it vertical” turns a 16:9 video into 9:16 and follows whoever is speaking, so the speaker stays in the frame.

Is it free?

You get 3 minutes of captions a month free, with a watermark and at 720p, no card needed. Paid plans start at ₾19 a month, without the watermark and at 1080p. Prices are in lari; a video that fails gets its credits back.

Can viewers who do not read Georgian follow my TikTok?

Yes, if you add captions in another language. Georgian speech can get English, Russian and 57 more languages as captions. Read the translation before you post; automatic translation can have mistakes.
